Salt State Swim

Built a pre-launch site for a new swimwear label: a full-bleed beach hero, a brand story told like a magazine, and an email list that opens the door to the first collection.

Salt State Swim website

The brief

Salt State Swim is a new swimwear label founded by its designer, designed for resort days, beach clubs and coastal adventures, and inspired by Greece, Bali and the Mediterranean. The first collection was due for Summer 2026, but there was nothing to sell yet. What the label needed first was a place that looked like the brand, told its story and collected the email addresses of people who wanted to know when the collection was ready. The plan was for the same site to grow into an online store after launch.

What we built

A single, slow-scrolling page on TanStack Start. It opens on an aerial photo of surf washing onto sand, with the wordmark, the line "A state of endless summer" and one button: Join the List. Below that sits the brand story, a moving band of brand phrases, and a Collection 001 preview section. The sign-up form appears in two places, plus a polite prompt that shows once after a visitor has scrolled well down the page or stayed for a while. It never returns after it is dismissed, and it does not show for anyone who has already joined. Each sign-up sends an email to the label, and a short privacy page explains what is collected. Links to the label's Instagram sit in the header and footer. The site runs on Tailwind and the motion library for the animation. It is not a WordPress stack, so it loads fast.

The Pagecog approach

We treated the site as a launch asset. The palette comes from the label's own logo, a sand background with an espresso serif wordmark, so the page feels like the brand from the first screen. There is one clear action, and it is written plainly: no spam, one note when the collection is ready. Analytics records sign-ups as the conversion, along with Instagram clicks and how the prompt performs. The business is described with Organization, Brand and WebSite structured data, and the page was verified in Google Search Console and Bing and submitted for indexing at launch. The code is set up so product pages and a cart can be added later without starting again. If you are launching a brand and need something similar, see our web design work.
