Website, SEO and Google Ads for locksmiths
Lockouts are the most urgent search in the trades, and regulators warn people about fake locksmiths.
Who arrives at a locksmith's site
- Locked out now
- A number that dials on tap, your name and photo beside it, your licence number, and a price statement that shows the total.
- Rekey after a break in or a move
- Rekeying against replacing, what a visit costs and who will arrive.
- Business with a master key need
- A commercial page with your licence, insurance and the kinds of site you already look after.
How people hire locksmiths
Locksmiths handle lockouts, lock changes and rekeying, security doors, safes, commercial master key systems and car keys. A lockout is the most urgent search in the trades: whoever answers first, at any hour. Commercial key systems are planned and relationship based.
Regulators warn people about fake locksmiths, so a person locked out reads your site to decide which kind you are. A real name, a real address and real work do that job.
Demand is steady, with a rise in rekeying and security upgrades after a break in.

Licence rules differ by state, and the number is often required
In NSW, locksmiths hold a security licence and a licensed business must show its Master licence number in advertising. Queensland requires a Class 2 security provider licence, and WA licenses security installers, with locks and safes in Class 1. Where a state's rule is unconfirmed, the page links the regulator's register and states no rule. Bait pricing is what regulators chase, so a price shows the total. Google also has verification requirements for locksmith advertisers, which change, so we read the current ones before launch.
