Website, SEO and Google Ads for carpenters

Mostly planned and photo led. A sole trader cannot take every call, so the site has to qualify the job.

How people hire carpenters

Carpenters sell decks, pergolas, doors and windows, sheds, framing, fit outs, repairs and general handyman work. Small jobs are price checked. Decks and pergolas are compared on photos of finished work.

A sole trader on a roof cannot answer the phone. The site shows the work, says what you take on and asks the right three questions, so the enquiries that arrive are the ones worth returning.

Decks and pergolas peak in spring, before summer. Repairs stay steady all year.

Who arrives at a carpenter's site

Deck or pergola buyer
A page for each, with your own photos, the suburb and the timber. Pergola cost and deck builder cost lead the suggestions Google offers.
Door, window or repair
A short list of repairs you take and the towns you cover.
Builder needing fit out or framing
The work you do for builders, your insurance and your availability.
Handyman job
A plain note on which jobs you take and which you do not.

Which jobs the site can advertise

In NSW, residential carpentry, decking and pergola structure work over $5,000 in labour and materials needs a licence. In Queensland, work over $3,300 needs a licence, and decking, pergolas, fences and gazebos fall in the structural landscaping class. A handyman can only advertise the work below those limits, so the licence class and number go on the site once a job can pass the limit. The jobs page lists what you take, and a deck or pergola page does not show up for a handyman who cannot do it.
