Website, SEO and Google Ads for electricians
Fault calls are urgent and often after hours. Switchboards, EV chargers and solar are compared for weeks.
Who arrives at a electrician's site
- Power is off
- The fault door: number, hours, area and licence, with no reading required.
- Switchboard upgrade
- What makes an upgrade necessary, what changes the price and how long the power is off.
- EV charger
- The chargers you install, the check on the existing board and photos from real homes.
- Solar and battery connection
- Accreditation shown only if you hold it, and a plain account of the connection steps.
- Strata or commercial manager
- Response times, the sites you service and how you issue paperwork.
How people hire electricians
An electrician is hired in two moods. A fault, a power outage or a safety switch that will not reset is urgent and often happens after hours. Switchboard upgrades, EV chargers and solar or battery connections are planned, high value and compared over a fortnight, often after a power company or insurer has flagged the switchboard.
One site has to serve both without making either wait. The fault caller needs a number in one screen. The project buyer reads every page.
Storm season brings faults, summer brings air conditioning circuits, and end of financial year brings commercial work. EV charger demand follows car sales, not the calendar.
The work electricians are hired for

- Smoke alarms and safety switches
- Lighting and fit off

The number has to look right for the state
NSW wants the licence number with its category in all advertising. Victoria wants the registered electrical contractor number on all promotional material. Western Australia wants the licence number in any advertisement, shown at no less than half the size of the largest lettering. Queensland wants the registered name and number, with a WorkSafe exception for online ads that link to a website. We set one licence component and word it by state.
